Dental

A dental visit means being examined by your dentist, who diagnoses and treats conditions that can range from routine to extremely complex. Members of the dental team may include a dentist, dental assistants, lab technicians, and dental hygienists.

We currently provide services to all active duty service members. Please call to make an appointment.

Emergency Dental Care

A dental emergency is defined as extreme pain, bleeding, swelling, trauma and/or infection. The dentist on-call will make arrangements for care, as needed. When you need after-hours dental treatment, call 325-234-2986 for the on-call dental provider.

Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics

For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.

Dental Policies

Patient Safety

Children aren't allowed to be unsupervised during appointments.

  • Children must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian while in the clinic waiting area.
  • Children aren't allowed in the treatment room during a parent's or guardian's dental appointment.
  • Adults who bring unsupervised children to dental appointments will rescheduled with the next available appointment.

Children in the Dental Clinic

Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during their appointment. Drop-off's aren't allowed.

  • Parents may accompany their child/children into the dental treatment room if deemed medically necessary by a provider.
  • Other children under the age of 12 may not be left unsupervised in the waiting area or be brought back to the dental treatment room.
